Requirements

To view or print the form, you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader loaded on your computer. If you do not, you may go to the Adobe Acrobat Web Site to download the application.

Information Sessions

Information sessions are intended to answer questions regarding the application process and to give an overview of the Master of Social Work Program. It is highly advised that anyone interested in applying to the MSW program attend one of these meetings.

The Department of Social Work will offer applicant information sessions in the Panorama room (of the Lower Commons), 6pm to 8pm, on:

• October 15, 2008
• November 12, 2008
• December 3, 2008

MSW Application Packet

Applications will become available in October. A first deadline is in January, but applications will continue to be accepted until we fill all the slots.  Application Packets contain all the necessary information and paperwork needed to apply to the Department and University.

How to Obtain an Application Packet

Visit Our Office:

• An Application packet may be purchased through our office for $10, payable by cash or check ONLY.

Request by Mail:

• Download and complete the Request for Application Packet and return to our Department office by mail, along with a $10 check or money order.

Applications may be submitted between October and January. Please note that completed applications should be postmarked by the last Friday of January in order to be given greatest consideration for acceptance into the MSW Program in the fall of the following year. Post January applications will be accepted until all of the slots are filled, but these applicants will be considered only if classes are not filled by the first pool of applicants (January deadline).
