Julia Poirier

Julia Poirier graduated from the University of Southern California , School of Social Work in 2004. She has worked in the field of social work since 2000, initially providing case management services to women in a substance abuse treatment facility, including but not limited to finding housing, employment advocacy, legal advocacy, parenting, etc. She has been involved with County mental health for Los Angeles County and San Bernardino County serving children and families since 2002. She is an experienced play therapist and child advocate. Julia enjoys mentoring new social workers, helping them to find their voice and specialty in this ever changing field.
