John Preble is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Marriage, Family and Child Counselor with twenty-three years experience in Social Services, including twenty concurrent years as a Clinician in private practice. He is a past Coordinator of The Early Childhood Program for severely emotionally disturbed children at Child Guidance Center in Fullerton, California.

Mr. Preble has extensive experience as a clinician in private practice working with abused children and their families, adult survivors of abuse, male victims of sexual abuse, and adolescent and adult sex offenders. He has served as a case consultant to community agencies and individual clinicians throughout southern California on clinical issues related to child abuse. He has presented on various aspects of child abuse at numerous professional workshops and conferences. Other areas of treatment specialization include clinical issues related to adoption, adults raised in alcoholic families and victims of violent crime.

Mr. Preble's background encompasses use of behavior modification, cognitive therapy, psycho dynamic therapy, short and long term therapy, assessment with diagnostic impression and referral, individual, family and group therapy, counseling children, adolescents and adults.

Mr. Preble is interested in the recruitment of Native American graduate students and the development of field placements that serve the Native American community.
