Agencies & Field Instructors
Agencies Interested in Providing Field Placements
If your agency is interested in providing field placements for our social work students, please do the following:
- (1) Read the Questions & Answers - Field Education (see Forms below).
- After reading the fact sheet, if your agency qualifies as a field placement site, please complete the (2) Agency Application and (3) Field Instructor Information Form (see Forms below) and return to our office.
- Scroll down to the (4) Agency Agreement, make a copy of it, sign it and return all forms to Rachel Allinson-Strydom, MSW, LCSW, via email rstrydom@csusb.edu , via fax (909) 537-7029, or regular mail: School of Social Work, 5500 University Parkway, San Bernardino, CA 92408. The Director will contact the agency to schedule an appointment with the representatives interested in obtaining BASW or MSW Interns.
Field Instructor Trainings
All new field instructors and preceptors are required to attend a field training to assist in orienting and providing a framework of the duties and responsibilities of becoming a field instructor for social work interns
We also offer CEUs for satisfactory participation in the training course.
