Geog 303 – Geography and World Affairs, CSU, Chico. Geography in the news. Analysis of current world conflicts and problem areas, with an emphasis upon examination of social, economic, political, and environmental realities. This is an approved General Education and Non-Western course. Required for BA in Social Science.
Patterns of role learning as they vary within subpopulations; changes over time in the values, attitudes, and goals of both the general culture and of subcultures; stereotypes and realities; understanding and dealing with cultural variations as well as cultural norms.
